Six Sentence Sunday – A Smoking Hot Aussie Weekend Snippet

I’ve got another snippet from Hot Aussie Weekend, following on from last week’s. Jaycee is still torturing Campbell

Biting down on her bottom lip, she dropped her head back and moaned as she pleasured herself.

She’d just pulled out the big guns. The first time he found her in this position, he’d almost come in his pants. Of course, she’d done it on purpose back then too. He told her he’d love to see her touch herself – something she’d never done for a man before – and now she did it as much as she could.

Without another thought, Campbell moved one hand down and began to stroke his own tingling, fiery flesh.

Have a great Sunday!

Whatchya Reading Wednesday

Last week I read The Wood Queen. And I tell you, I’ve never read such a good book in my life! Karen Mahoney is one of the most brilliant writers of our time. The fact that she writes totally addictive stories is just a major plus. If you haven’t already, check her out – she’s written two great short stories that have appeared in anthologies put together by the great Trisha Telep – as well as the two novels in The Iron Witch trilogy. I can’t wait for The Stone Demon to come out!!

Anyway, this week I’m reading the final book in the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead – Succubus Revealed. It’s very bittersweet. I LOVE this series and don’t want it to end, but also can’t wait to see how it ends. As with all series endings there will be some loose ends to tie up, but I have no doubt that Richelle can do it in a way that leaves every single reader satisfied. She is my absolute favourite author (followed closely by Nalini Singh) and I really hope to meet her at the RT Convention in Chicago next month.

Georgina Kincaid has had an eternity to figure out the opposite sex, but sometimes they still surprise her. Take Seth Mortensen. The man has risked his soul to become Georgina’s boyfriend. Still, with Lucifer for a boss, Georgina can’t just hang up her killer heels and settle down to domestic bliss. In fact, she’s being forced to transfer operations…to Las Vegas.

The City of Sin is a dream gig for a succubus, but Georgina’s allies are suspicious. Why are the powers-that-be so eager to get her away from Seattle—-and from Seth? Georgina is one of Hell’s most valuable assets, but if there’s any way out of the succubus business she plans to take it–no matter how much roadkill she leaves behind. She just hopes the casualties won’t include the one man she’s risking everything for…

So that’s what I’m reading, now tell me, what are you guys reading?

Happy Anniversary To Me…

Exactly one year ago today my first novel was published. The first piece of work I ever finished. The first piece I ever subbed. And my favourite piece of work I have out at the moment – Elora’s Match.

HUGE thanks to everyone who’s read the book, emailed me, commented and reviewed the book. And to Silver Publishing for taking a chance on a newbie Aussie author.

To celebrate my one year anniversary of becoming a published author I’m at the Soundwave Festival. Where I’ll be rockin’ out to some of my favourite bands (including my absolute fave VersaEmerge). So think of me today, in the scorching Perth heat, probably getting sunburnt, with sweaty clothes, throwing bottles of water over myself as I mosh like I’m 18 again

Love yas all!

Another Smutty Little Six Sentence Sunday

This week’s Six Sentence Sunday is from Hot Aussie Weekend, my latest release.

This week it’s Jaycee’s turn to play

“It’s my turn to play with you, dear husband.”

She smiled a sultry grin, her eyes glowing with desire as she closed the gap between them and captured his mouth in a deliciously alluring kiss. Her tongue invaded his mouth, massaging his own as she pushed her soft breasts against his chest. With a groan, Campbell grasped her hips in an attempt to haul her on top of his cock, but she tensed and sat up.

“Uh uh uh,” she said wagging a finger back and forth. “It’s your turn to squirm.”

Don’t forget to check out the main Six Sentence Sunday site and read some great snippets from some fantastic authors.

Whatchya Reading Wednesday

What am I reading this week? I’m finally reading The Wood Queen!!! *happy dance*

If you haven’t read The Iron Witch, or any of Karen Mahoney’s other works, go do it RIGHT NOW! She’s such an incredibly talented writer. Within one page she will have you completely immersed in the world she’s created.

I’m two chapters in and the only reason I stopped was so I could sleep! In fact, I’m going to continue reading it as soon as I finish this post. And I’m not sleeping again until I’ve finished. It’s just that addictive.

And seriously, how STUNNING is that cover?

To keep her best friend, Navin, from being killed at the hands of vicious wood elves, Donna Underwood stole the elixir of life. Now she’s facing an alchemist tribunal while her mother lies dying, succumbing to the elven curse that shattered her mind. In desperation, Donna seeks an audience with Aliette, the fierce and manipulative Wood Queen, who offers a deal: if Donna can use her strange and burgeoning powers to help the wood elves, Aliette will free her mother from the curse.

Along with Navin and Xan, the half-fey guy she’s falling for, Donna struggles to unlock the secrets of her iron tattoos in time to save her mother’s life. But some secrets are better left untold…
